A key objective of the strategy for the Waste Management Program was to ensure residents understood how to use the new recycling and garbage carts – that they be positioned correctly to allow for pickup by automated vehicles.
The plan also included development and focus group testing of a new 4R Winnipeg brand, and strategies and tactics to reach residents of diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
4R Winnipeg educates residents and the new identity reflects the program’s overall environmental focus.
