Something that I wasn’t taught in design school was self-promotion.
But it is an art form onto itself. Getting your foot in the door of a prospective client and having a face-to-face meeting is the goal of every agency or freelance designer.
So what is the best way to stand out from the crowd? Is it social media? Maybe it’s building a unique brand and personality. Or perhaps gimmicks! (Say no to gimmicks.)
