Increased positivity = reduced stress

If you watch the news lately you would think that the world is going to hell in a hand basket.

So many people nowadays seem to focus on the negative and on what is going wrong around them.

Lately, I have started to notice how negative we can all be – and how that negativity can affect my levels of stress and anxiety on a daily basis.

But if we all stepped back for just a minute and looked around we’d realize:

  • This is a great city
  • The people here are generally fantastic
  • The opportunities for activity and entertainment are endless
  • Our ability to control our own lives and our own decisions is priceless

Life – overall – is an amazing ride (at least its better than the alternative).

So when faced with complaining about something or enjoying the present – choose the positive option once in a while. It will reduce all of our stress.
