Red River College will be graduating another Graphic Design class soon. That means 50 or so fresh faces joining the real world and looking for their first design gig.
I’m always impressed with the quality of work that comes out of RRC every year.
But one thing that can be hard to teach is confidence. It can be the biggest barrier in a young designer’s career. Getting a bruised ego can be tough.
But you can’t shirk away from constructive comments from your colleague or art director. And you certainly can’t take changes from a client personally. You have to learn from the criticism. That’s what helps you grow as a designer and become better.
